The mezuzah case is painted with  oil colors and coated with a special Varnish to Protect fading and any possible water damage
On the back of the mezuzah there is a place for a 4-inch parchment

A Kosher scroll is not included with the Mezuzah

The Mezuzah comes with a felt  sticker that can be used to seal the Parchment Inside the mezuzah case.
